Hi, I’m Dr. Krista Ortiz, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT! I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 10 years of experience, specializing in orthopedic care, manual therapy, dry needling, and helping people get back to doing the things they love.

I founded Austin Osteopractic & Wellness because I wanted to create a place where people feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for—not rushed through an appointment. More than anything, I love connecting with people and helping them regain the active, fulfilling lives we all deserve to live.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me traveling, playing poker, spending time with my partner Erik, or hanging out with our black lab, Ace, and black cat, Tuco. I’m excited to meet you and help you get back to feeling like yourself again!
